As adults we are parents, carers, employees, bosses, partners, accountants and many more roles that we each have to juggle and most of us do well if all ‘goes to plan’. Stresses build up slowly, anxiety can set in, passifying habits and quick feel-good fixes become the new normal – part of life.

Then, on top of everything else, life throws you a major curb-ball making you feel out of control. We can’t control what life has in store but we can learn and practice a healthy way we in how respond to those situations.

As we go through different phases in our lives we may feel overwhelmed and find that that the pieces do not fit as they used to. 

I have myself  been through the therapy process, been through Menopause and was not too long ago diagnosed with Cancer. I know and understand what it feels like going through the therapy process. It takes a lot of courage to accept that you need help and then when you reach out to seek help the next challenge is to action the steps involved in the process. It is certainly not an easy journey but seeking support at the right time can help considerably in making life manageable and beautiful again.
